Moving on Up…To the Upstairs
Sunday, March 29th, 2009Since the dawn of Daily Song (209 days ago), I’ve been living in a cramped one-bedroom apartment with my girlfriend, Emily.
We have a blast making jokes about the fact that our living room is also our kitchen/dining room/recording studio but at the end of the day, living and working in such a tiny place has its set backs - especially when you have to work every day (DAILY song). Emily is a teacher and the annoyance of having me constantly around and constantly working (sometimes really loudly) can be hard on her.
So… I moved Daily Song Studios! Friends of Daily Song/upstairs neighbors, Nate and Joe, let me move my equipment into their slightly larger and more noise-friendly apartment.
I’ve run into a few technical problems since the big move yesterday which should be remedied by tonight so I can get back to posting new songs. Ultimately, this move will be good for Daily Song… and Emily.
