Eric Strom’s Daily Song

Today’s song, Daily Song #174, is called “Na Na Na Na” and is about repeatedly using the word “Na”.

Sadly, the song is NOT an example of using “Na” over and over in place of a more typical multi-lyric word bundle. That would be FUNNY! Instead, the song has more lyrics than I usually write.

Why am I describing the song? I don’t usually do that, so that’s a GOOD question. I am describing the song so you will believe me when I tell you that it is written, but I will not finish recording it tonight due to Daily Song problems.

This week won’t be the first Thursday song. Ugh.. I worked so hard to finish everything but I guess writing a song every day keeps you busy.

I now empathize with major corporations that are always delaying product launches. I used to just get angry, but now I understand.

In my experience so far, I have learned that you probably shouldn’t announce release dates until you are SO SURE! If you don’t follow through, you break down the trust.

I am a little shocked to realize that sometime next week is 6 MONTHS (180 days) of songs.I wish I had been more prepared… I wish I could have been more ready for this. The days rush by so fast. The songs get done but sometimes it seems like not much else.

So anyways, no Thursday Song this week. But, I guess this isn’t terrible news for the Daily Song community. I would not be upset if my electricity company said, oh Eric, we’re SO SORRY, we’re not ready to take your money… please continue to take our electricity for free, if you don’t mind… just don’t pay us yet… can you wait?

OK, we all know that I got lazy and didn’t update the podcast version of Daily Song for over a month.

I’m sick of playing Daily Songs only in the blimp too.
